Guillermo R. Ponte is Vice President and Lead Estimator & Procurement at Interlink, with more than 21 years of experience in the construction industry and a long-standing tenure with the firm. He provides executive leadership in preconstruction strategy, cost estimating, budgeting, procurement, and risk mitigation across large-scale infrastructure and commercial projects.

Mr. Ponte has led estimating and procurement efforts for some of the region’s most complex projects, including major capital improvements and federally funded reconstruction programs in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. His expertise includes value engineering, contract negotiation, vendor management, and cost control, ensuring competitive pricing and disciplined project delivery.

He holds a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering (Construction Management) from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Puerto Rico and is actively involved in professional and community organizations.
