José Vales is a construction executive and licensed Professional Engineer with more than 15 years of experience delivering complex public and private sector projects in Puerto Rico. He currently serves as Senior Vice President at Interlink, where he supports construction operations, project execution, and business development across the company’s portfolio.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Building Construction from the Georgia Institute of Technology. His professional background includes executive leadership, project management, cost engineering, and field supervision, with prior roles at Turner Construction Company and Gleeds. He is recognized for his disciplined coordination of multidisciplinary teams, strong collaboration with owners and designers, and a consistent focus on quality, safety, and schedule of performance.

Mr. Vales has led or contributed to notable projects and major hospitality renovations. He also serves on nonprofit and advisory boards, contributing his expertise to institutional planning and capital improvement initiatives.
