Rafael Colón Lugo is Vice President of Interlink Construction and Managing Director of Interlink Technologies, the division responsible for every technology system across Interlink and also technology implementations across different projects. In this dual role, he leads the growing intersection of technology and construction planning across the company's hospitality, commercial, and residential work, coordinating IT infrastructure, security, and audiovisual systems from the earliest stages of a project.

Hotel systems integration is where he spends most of his time, leading the full technology buildout for new construction and renovations and coordinating every vendor needed to bring a property to a fully operational, integrated state, including IT infrastructure, guest WiFi and ISP installation, PBX and telephony, property management systems, AV systems, security cameras and access control, electronic door locks, parking systems, and point-of-sale installations. He also leads Interlink's enterprise security practice as an authorized Verkada partner, with recent deployments including multi-site rollouts for Autocentro and Autogermana and hospitality venues such as the Hyatt Centric hotel in Isla Verde & commercial rollout like the on in The HUB at Sheraton Puerto Rico Resort & Casino. His AV integration work includes the sound system installation for the Hiram Bithorn Stadium renovation, and specialized projects have included the CLEAR biometric identity verification installation at Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport and a full infrastructure overhaul for Oasis Casino. He also directs Interlink's internal enterprise systems, including its ERP platform, construction project management software, and payroll systems among others.

Rafael joined Interlink in November 2020 as Systems & Data Analytics Manager, advancing to Director of Technology in 2024 before assuming his current role in 2026. He began his career as a software developer, including roles at GFR Media and SIDEARM Sports, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Management and Technology/Web Development with a minor in Information Design & Startups from Syracuse University.
